Tampa Bay Reforestation and Environmental, Effort, Inc.

Over a quarter of a Century ago, four idealistic people and one of their close knit supporters had a vision. Their vision was dedicated to the creation and restoration of natural beauty through the planting of trees. At the urging of a landscape architect with the City of Tampa, this close knit group founded the Tampa Bay Reforestation and Environmental Effort, Inc. in 1983. Little did they realize then that over the next twenty-seven years their vision would result in the planting of nearly 25,000 trees utilizing over 1,000 volunteers in 370 projects!
